Empty buildings

Empty buildings have their own charm. Especially if it looks like the new museum in Berlin, which shows clearly the traces of history and combines it with clear and modern architecture.

Due to its opening there was a change concert ... concert musicians, dancers and audience moved from room to room. Beautiful, amazing, sunny, invigorating, joyful experience ... just a wonderful experience with very many facets.

Action Artist Hack

No, I'm not related to the action artist Joseph Herman Hack despite the same surname. But his art - including the "indictment" and the tents of the "Climate Refugee Camp", described as slogans such as "God bless Allah" "Breads Army Fraction" "UN-fair" (in the UN blue) and "Social refrigeration against global warming" which is currently before the Brandenburg Gate to be seen, I will perhaps visit this week. A video about this can be found here.

Pictures from New York

I have just put some pictures of New York in my (Kerstin_a_Hack) Flickr. Some classic New York pictures, a mini-documentary of Oba-mania (Obama as a shirt, as a paperboard figure, posters ...) and then a series of photos I had made at MoMA. There was (and is) to see a video installation by the artist PippiLotti Rist- the way her videos merged with the reality that the people of the stairs in the Moma ran up and down or the contrast has fascinated me immensely ... and I have taken a whole series of photos to note the flowing.

All You Need Is Love

Steve Turner, whose thoughtful and thorough book IMAGINE. Christians in art, music and media, I've published in German has written to me that his book about the Beatles is available in German now - printed by another publisher. Although I have not yet read the book, but because I know how well Steve researches, writes and thinks, I can recommend to all fans of the Beatles .
