A friend wrote: "At this time of the year we celebrate with you the awesome fact that the Creator of 100 billion trillion suns took on a body like ours to live
humbly among us, revealing the glory of His person and inviting us to
share it all with Him as co-heirs forever."
I also celebrate the fact, that God is a God who answers prayer. Some of my favorite prayer answers for Berlin in 2004 were
- much less violence at May Day than in the years before
- two planned terror attacks that were discovered beforehand
- improvement in Berlins economy (growth for the first time since 2000 and more job training places for young people!)
